For four decades, The Bavarian Lodge has been a destination for those seeking authentic German fare, serious beer, and a relaxed, unhurried meal. We’re known for traditional favorites, a full bar, and one of the most respected beer selections in the area.

Whether you’re joining us for schnitzel, sausages, roast duck, or a selection from our curated 42-draft beer list, we want you to settle in and enjoy yourselves. We are walk-in only, do not take reservations, and are best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Our beer program features a constantly rotating draft list with careful attention to proper glassware, a deep bottle selection, and the kind of range that has made us a longtime go-to for imported classics, rare offerings, and standout craft beer.

We are open our regular hours on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10. We will be serving our full dinner menu at regular prices from 12 pm to 9 pm. To ensure proper service for our dine-in guests, carryout is not available on Mother's Day.

We are accepting reservations via TEXT ONLY for parties of FIVE OR MORE on Mother’s Day.
Parties with FOUR OR FEWER guests are walk-ins only.
No voice calls, please.

FOR PARTIES OF FIVE or MORE
Please TEXT your reservation request to 630-241-4701, and include the following:

• The number of adults
• The number of infants and children (12 and under)
• High chairs or booster seats needed
• Preferred arrival time
• Last name for the reservation

We will respond to your text as soon as we can, often within a matter of minutes. Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a reply. If your requested time is not available, we will offer alternate options for your approval.

FOR PARTIES OF FOUR or FEWER
All parties of four or fewer are seated as walk-ins; no reservations are taken. While Mother’s Day is a busy one at The Bavarian Lodge, waits for smaller parties are uncommon, as guest volume is spread throughout the day. You may also text ahead (on the day of) to check on availability at 630-241-4701.

RESERVATION CHANGES or CANCELLATIONS
If you need to modify or cancel a reservation, please text 630-241-4701 as soon as possible so we may better accommodate all our guests. Advance notice is greatly appreciated. Reservations are a two-way commitment, and we appreciate your help in honoring them.

ARRIVAL POLICY
All members of your party must be present before seating.

• Parties arriving with fewer guests than reserved may need to wait for a smaller table to become available
• If your party arrives with more guests than reserved, we may not be able to seat everyone at the same table

If your party size changes, please text us as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you. Advance notice greatly improves our ability to seat your party together.
